Bunny Butts With Bows

YES! That is exactly what my kids have decided to call my latest project!  All of them, at some point during the creation process, have walked in, stood over my shoulder, and after watching for a few minutes, proclaimed, "SOOO You are making Bunny Butts."

Hi, Y'all! Misty (@Mommyofkidz) here with you today! With Easter coming up SUPER quick, I thought I would share another little decor project that I did.  You already know it is Bunnies...SOOOO...

When the bunnies were finished, I set them out on my porch and my older son walked into the house talking on the phone.  I overheard him say to his girlfriend, "My Mom finished her Bunny Butts.  They now have Bows." And that became the name of this project! LOL

Introducing:

Bunny Butts with Bows

These were easy to make, just time consuming. I guess I could have cut the time in half if I had chosen to make only ONE, but what is the fun in that?  This way, I have twin sister Bunny Butts!

The bunnies and the sentiments can all be found at Bonnie Garby Designs or on the Cricut Access Membership site.  I loaded these onto my canvas, enlarging the bunnies to 11x23 and the sentiments to 8x3 (Easter) and 8x4 (Spring). I then set to cutting them on vinyl.

I also cut the bunnies out using Balsa Wood, which I then applied the vinyl bunnies as overlays on the the balsa.
Once the bunnies were built, I simply had to assemble some cute little bows for them, and adhere them.
Easy Peasy!
For the ribbons, I used the Netting Trim in Yellow and Lavender, 5/8 Sunflower Satin, and the Sheer Cherry Hyacinth.  I also have some Mulberry Flowers from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store mixed in there along with the other florals from my stash.

ALL of my kids have made comments about these little decorations. I can't decide if they are making fun of me or if they actually like them.  Oh Well! Either way...I LOVE THEM!
I hope you enjoy them, too!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  You can create this or your own Easter decorations using ribbon! Just head on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store and start filling your cart!

He Is The Light

Hello and welcome to everyone stopping by the RRR Blog.  It's your friend, Karen Letchworth posting today.  Please know that we're always very grateful for your visits.  Any time that I can make a card and adorn it with some type of ribbon or trim, it opens up a whole world of different creative options, and Really Reasonable Ribbon always makes it easy and fun.  I hope the card I'm sharing today will inspire you to get creative with ribbons.  They're just so pretty and they add so much texture and excitement to our art.
For this card, I started with basic black cardstock that I layered with a yellow patterned paper from JilliBean Soup.  Next, I cut a frame from white cardstock using the Crimped Frames Die from The Greetery.  I inked the edges and I stencilled the background using a Tim Holtz lines stencil in Fossilized Amber Oxide Ink.  I'm sorry to say that I don't know what company makes the light bulb dies I used as they're not in their original packaging.
The sentiment I used is found in the He Is The Light Stamp Set from Stamp Simply.  At the bottom of my card, I ran a length of Black & White Bold Plaid Ribbon and I also tied a pretty bow with it.  Underneath the bow, I added some bundled Yellow Burlap String and several pretty Double Head Stamens.  I topped it all with a White Carnation using a cut piece of Scor-Tape.  The screw-in part of the light bulbs (two layers) were raised up using 3-D Foam Tabs for dimension.
Be sure to stop by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog for lots of great inspiration as well as information about special sales and promotions.  We're always here to help, to inspire, and to answer any questions we can.  Whether you need ribbons and trims, Adhesives, Mulberry Flowers or Embellishments, you're almost always sure to find it all when you shop RRR.  Thanks so much for stopping by today, everyone.  Have a great week.

Blessings,
Karen

Eat Cake Fun Fold Card

Hello crafty friends, and Happy Thursday to you all! Cheryl here today with a fun fold Birthday card to share that Ive created for Really Reasonable Ribbon and KaDoodle Bug Designs. I used the Beautiful Satin ribbon for my bows in two different sizes.

So my card today I designed using 6" x 12" pink card stock and scored at 6" and then 9" and then fold the 6" valley, and 9" mountain fold. Next I cut another piece of pink card stock that measures 5" wide, and 6" tall. that will be the front of the card. Then decorate. I used the darling Unicorn from KaDoodle Bug Designs and added a different muzzle and different eyes from another SVG from KaDoodle Bug. I use the matching tag and then some beautiful Satin Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon , 5/8" and 3/8" Pink , to put my card together I used foam tabs & scor-tape , and then foam dots. For the pink dew drops I used Robins Nest Dew drops. Ooo don't forget the sewing, I just had to add that too.
