Heart Shaped Baby Album

Hi friends and happy Friday!  Linsey here today sharing my latest RRR project with you. I painted and decorated this heart-shaped chipboard album and gave it a baby theme. I hope you enjoy!
I painted the chipboard pieces all pink, then used baby-to-bride paper collection to decorate the front and back covers and inside pages. All the flowers are from RRR as well. For the front cover, I used May Arts Burlap String Natural on the buttons. A bit of Elastic Double Ruffles Ribbon White and a scrap piece of Vanessa White Crochet Lace were tied to the metal band that holds all the pages to together. They added a nice effect with the monogrammed tag and hot pink faux leather tassel. The flowers I used include WOC Mixed Pink/White Sweetheart Blossoms, White Cosmos Daisy Stems, and 2-Tone Light Turquoise Open Roses.
Thanks so very much for visiting today! Have a wonderful weekend and as always, happy crafting!

Happy Easter!

Hello, crafty friends! It's Gloria with you today! I rarely get to post to the blog, so this is a treat for me! I missed out on the Really Reasonable Ribbon hop this month, so I asked if I could do a post later in the month, so here we are...later!
I am using the March Ribbon Club, which is filled with spring! It is like a packet of Easter eggs! I love seeing the new ribbon assortments each month. Each one is prettier than the last!
I wanted to color something to match the ribbons, so I chose this digital stamp by Power Poppy called Wreath: Succulents and Baubles. I colored the image with Copic markers, then added some sparkle with a glitter pen.

I had printed the image with the accompanying Christmas message in the center of the wreath, so I cut out the center of the wreath to remove the sentiment. I then stamped an Easter message instead! The Easter stamp is from a set by Taylored Expressions called He is Risen. I love how you can alter the stamps to get more use out of them!
I matched up three of the ribbons from the March ribbon club: Garden Rose Swiss Dots GrosgrainSherbet Delicate Stitched Satin, and Turquoise Shimmer Satin. I created a giant, puffy bow for the card. This card will need a box or padded envelope in order to mail it! The card is 6 1/2" tall by 5" wide, which is an odd size, but I can make my own envelope and it will still fit in a standard-sized padded mailer. Win-win!
The paper I used is from the Authentique Dame Collection. I used both 12x12 and 6x6 prints. It was fun to match up prints with the Copic colors I used for the image and the ribbons from the Ribbon Club Assortment.

Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Blessings

Hello Crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today's Easter Blessings card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Grosgrain Roses with Scalloped Edge Ribbon and Cindy Lace, I also used some Rose flowers and Pink stamens on my card for today.
On my card for today I chose to use this sweet little bunny die, and added some beautiful RRR Cindy Lace and a little pink rose to him. His tail has flower soft added to it, and the eye is done with viva pearl pen.  I Love this Cindy Lace, its so easy to work with and absolutely gorgeous! The ribbon is so sweet, and worked perfectly for my card today. The stamens and Roses were an added embellishing for my card.

The Flower die was colored using Copic markers, and the tag with sentiment was distressed using pink ink. I did add two roses to it as well.

I really enjoyed creating this sweet Easter card for today's post. Listed below are all supplies used to create my card.

Bless This Nest Greeting Card

Spring is in the air friends. Not here..but somewhere I'm sure it's warm and the birds are singing.  We're still at freezing temps and snow on the ground so I'm making my own spring by creating with this lovely nature inspired paper collection.
Of course this has inspired me to load up the card with gorgeous flowers.
Lucky for me RRR has just the right ribbons and twine for every project I make and this is no exception.
The Celery Green Chevron Twill is one of my favorites for coordinating with florals.
I've added this little arrangement over altered chipboard to bulk it up and I think the flourish is a perfect addition.
More chipboard for the top of the focal image...this time finished in white to enhance the doily. It adds so much texture!!!
A few fussy cut stamps and a wooden clip finish off this card.

~Really Reasonable Ribbon~
Chevron Striped Twill in Celery, Burlap String Natural, Cherry Blossom Yellow, Chrysanthemums.

Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Hello friends, and welcome by the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog today as I (Karen Letchworth) share a quick little card with you all that I created using some more of my favorites from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Shop.  I started with some green cardstock and added some coordinating patterned papers attaching them with strips of Scor-Tape.  Next, I added a couple of glittery feathers.  Well, we all know that I couldn't stop there.....and, as always, I knew I had the perfect Really Reasonable Ribbon products for this card.
I added two different sizes of the lovely Wild Orchid Crafts Green/White Mulberry Leaves, and then added some Gold Double-Head Stamens, White Double-Head Stamens, Baby Pink Double-Head Stamens, and Aqua Green Double-Head Stamens.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVE these sweet little accents?  Double Head Flower Stamens are a must-have item at just $1.99 per bundle of 160 pieces.
I also added a pretty bow tied with Bay Leaf Seam Binding, Baby Pink Seam Binding and Gold Metallic String.  Finally, I placed some sweet Pink Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms and some Miniature Mint Sweetheart Blossoms here and there.  These are such adorable little Mulberry Flowers for tucking in here and there.....and everywhere.  You're sure to find something AMAZING in the RRR shop, and I encourage you to treat yourself to something new.

Happy crafting!
